He was born in East pauktaw village near Pyi in the middle of
Myanmar in 1971. By 1987, he arrived to Yangon and worked with
posters. He studied art at State School of Fine Art from 1991 to
1994. He studied under U Tin Aye, U Kyaw lay, U Thit Lwin Soe
and Maung Myint Maung. For the next five years, he was a painter
and a member of New Treasure gallery. Having some exposures with
Modern artists as Bagyi Aung Soe, Aung Myint and Khin Maung Yin
during 2000s, he inspired by women figures in nude and started
practice for a few years. Then, he developed a solo exhibition
with abstract paintings, in which he built nude bodies of female
hard figures. The title of the exhibition was Beauty of
nothing. During 200-2007, he had seven selected group
exhibitions including "Myanmar Contemporary Art Show in Ching
Mai, Thailand in 2006. In 2007, he participated in the Group
Show at Karin Weber Art Gallery in Hong Kong. In 2008, he
participated in Nargis donation art exhibitons and Myanmar
contemporary art awards exhibition. As a member of New Zero Art
group, he regularly participates in New Zero Movements. In 2009,
he exhibited his Naga painting at the Asean Contemporary Art
Exchange. He is a core member of Studio Square as well. Later,
he has been working with some collage and drawing paintings
using old pieces and pages of cartoon books.

He was born in Kyaukpadaund in 1978. He go his bachelor degree
in Philisophy and also graduated from State School of Fine Art.
He studied under some artists such as U Kyaw Htwe, U Mon Thet, U
kyaw Than, U Myint Maung, U Win Tint, U Kyaw Thurain and Shein.
He became a member of New Zero and worked at the Assiantant
Manager of New Zero Art Space. He is the art teacher and
training supervisor of New Zero adult and children art classes.
Now he is the Studio Manger of New Zero Art Studio. He regulary
participates at Color Stream art exhibitions, which is organized
by the young artists, graduated from State School of Fine Art,
Yangon. His former artworks included potratis, landspace, the
reading Monks, and such kind of traditions. After 2008, he was
interested in Installation and Performance art. He practiced
performance art at New Zero Sunday performance art workshops.
His first installation was shown at 3*5 Art Exhibition. He made
a performance in Nippon Myanmar International Performance art
exchange in 2009.He used to draw semi-abstracts landscapes with
action painting technique. Last year, in 2009, he started his
ongoing painting series of me, which included texts, mixed
media and color drops. He took part nearly 20-group show. Now he
is working with painting, installation, performance and video as
well. His recent international exhibition was + ROAD Indonesia
Myanmar Art Exchange project at Cemeti Art house, Yogyakarta.
His recent performance piece was shown at Sika gallery in Bali
in 2010.

Since
the beginning of his career as an illustrator for some monthly magazines
and book covers, he adopted his paintings expressing the situation of
urban city, the social matters of people, and the birds at the roofs of
the citys buildings. The 1960 born artist studied art under his
grandfather U Ba Than, the painter of historical Buddha images. He
studied basic drawing under U Kyaw Hla and U Khin Maung Thwin from 1970
to 1977. In 1996, he held a duet art show with artist Sandra. His early
art shows were Mawlamyine college art exhibition. He used to participate
in Memorial Exhibitions of the artists passed away. In 1997 and 2006, he
joined Illustrator art show at Lawkanat gallery. Being a member of New
Zero, he also participated in Asean contemporary art exchange in 2009.
