He first studied art under a private teacher, Artist Pyi Soe Myint. Then he attended the State school of Fine Art, Yangon in 1994. He has exhibited his solo shows thrice and eleven group art exhibitions in Yangon and Bangkok, Thailand from 1995 to 2008. In 2009, he had a solo show at New Zero Art Space and had a residency at Chingmai, Thailand. He is a performance artist as well. His recent foreign exhibition was Mekong art Exchange program of New Zero in Vietnam and Thailand. In 2010, he organized “Ongoing Echos” Myanmar Indonesia Art exchange 2010 inviting five Indonesian painters and 4 other Myanmar artists.

She was born in 1965.She graduated from Yangon University with B.A (Myanmar). She studied art under U Thein Myint Thein, U Ye Myint, U Kyaw Lin. She has exhibited her art works in thirteen group art shows from 2005 to 2008. Her recent paintings are newly represented t he visually adoption of her originality concern with art and life. She began making performances of about her controversial feeling on her life. Kyu Kyu participated in international performance festival in 8th September, 2008(Tokyo, Japan). Most remarkable and interesting performance piece among her performance pieces “Long boring Marriage” in that the artist wore a wedding dress and held a flower in the hand as the concept behind was full of reflections of Women life in the society. Hiding her face with a white mask, she also used to produce calm postures like having a meditation or laying on the floor in other performances. She started practice performances at new Zero Sunday Workshop.
