He was
born in 1973 in Yangon. He studied art under U Lun Gywe and U Aung din.
He studied Modern art under Bagyi Aung Soe who was recognized as the
father of Modern Art in Myanmar, from 1987 to 1990. In 1994, he
graduated a Diploma in Fine Art from the State School of Fine Art. in
1996, he made his first solo show, Living, at the Lawkanat gallery in
1996. Being an illustrator and a graphic designer as well, he
participated in Myanmar graphic art show at the National Museum in
2007.He has made over fifteen group exhibitions in Myanmar and in Hong
Kong. In 2009, he participated in Asean Contemporary Art Exchange
program. His sixth solo show was exhibited at New Zero Art Space at the
same year. His artistic concept mostly derived from his understanding in
Buddhism. However, sometimes he used to work with the popular issues of
society. He is a teacher of New Zero Adult F.O.C art classes.

He was born in Tharawall, Tharawaddy district in 1955. He
studied painting under U Mg Mg Thein, Daw May Ba and U Khing
Maung (Member of AIA-London) in 1969, before he graduated from
Yangon Art s and Sciences University master degrees in 1978. He
has displayed his paintings in seventeen-group exhibitions. In
1968 to 1972, he participated in Student arts group exhibition
at No. (1), State High School, KyeeMyin Dine Township and No.(2)
State High School, Lanmadaw Township in Yangon. Over eight
years, he yearly participated in the annual art exhibition of
Artists and Artisans Association of his township. In 1998, he
participated in All myanmar art & sculpture exhibition at the
National Museum by the sponsorship of Ministry of Culture. Ten
years later, in 2008, being a member of New Zero Art group, he
participates regularly at the New Zeros activities in 2008,
2009 and 2010. He also participated at Asean Contemporary Art
Exchange in 2009. |

She was
born in 1974.Both of her parents are artists and the teachers of
paintings as well. She got over 30 awards from government organizations
and various International Organizations in painting and art
competitions. She studied art and graduated diploma in fine art from
State School of Fine Art (1991-1993). She also got her B.F.A in
Sculpture the University of Culture (1994-1998). She was selected to
attend the art educational and workshop in London, as the State School
of Fine Art Summer Program in 1993. Even she had a long learning in art,
she did not enjoy an academic way to practice art according to the
traditional and customary things.
She has already sixth solo shows during 1997 to 2006. Three former solo
shows were about paintings and installation. In 2003, she exhibited her
new series of Abstract in gold, most of the untitled painting using
the gold leaves seemed her anti expressivity, impersonality and
emotional coldness emphasizing only on the objects and the physical
nature of the materials compositing a reduction on color, forms and so
on.
She participated in several group exhibitions in Myanmar and in Thailand
for seven years from 1999. In 2000 and 2002, she made solo exhibitions
of Marble sculpture projects one and two.

As a sculptor, she used to manipulate such kind of minimalist abstract
sculptors. One of her public sculptor works; she created a Serge Pun for
FMI City as the assignment work of three years long project (1999-2002)
by the SPA cooperation. She is also working with logo design and other
designs. She has been an art teacher at some international art schools
in Yangon. Now, at her Nan Nan gallery, which was founded in 2000, she
conducted some art private art classes to the foreigners and the local
students as well.
