Wubin has been working for his research on photography at South East Asia since 1998. He has been to Myanmar for four times before. This time, he has researched the conceptual photography of Myanmar. Then we invited him to give a seminar at New Zero Art Space. He represented the photography works of tow photographers for each country in the Asean region. This was a nice period to see and know how the documentary photography works for the history, for the people and for our own memory. Besides, for the New Zero students, gained the ideas on how could use photography as a media.

At first, he explained his art works including his well-known three series and performances with projection.He shared some of his idea on performance art dealing with concept and idea. At the question and answers sessions, the artist shared his artistic perception on the difference between the Idea and Concept, how to develop an idea to be an artistic strong concept.

One of New Zero core member artists Aung Myat Htay, whose works are graceful in colors, gave a seminar of “Color Harmony”. He made a power point presentation how to match and combine color in visual art using color schemes chats and tables, referencing some designs and visual art works.

BUSINESS MANAGEMENT FOR ARTIST, SEMINAR BY THU TA AUNG

He has the director of company in Landon in the UK. He presented a topic of how the artists could survive him or herself, how to deal with art business, how to promote the artist by him or herself compared to the Well-developed art societies of another countries, especially in the UK.

ARTIST TALK AND PERFORMANCE BY AMERICAN ARTIST “KARL”

Many New Zero Member artists attended and joined this small event. The artist from United State explained his recent works and then he made a performance_ at first; he crawled into the room passing the doorway slowly. The audiences have to draw the lines that shaped his body while he was moving. Finally, he reached to the wall and stood up. The audience still tried to get his body shape line.
